Building Manager

Responsibilites

  • 1. Scheduling regular building preventive maintenance services
  • 2. Inspecting the building frequently for signs of damage or wear& tear
  • 3. Sourcing for contractors as needed to maintain, repair, or improve the property
  • 4. Overseeing security, cleaner, fire prevention, and all M&E systems
  • 5. Contracting professionals for repairs as needed
  • 6. Overseeing contractors and inspecting completed jobs
  • 7. Preparing and monitoring annual budgets
  • 8. Resolving complaints, problems, and requests from building occupants
  • 9. Ensuring that occupants are satisfied with the level of management
  • 10. Liaising and attending meetings with management committees
  • 11. Preparing minutes of meeting and monthly operational reports
  • 12. Supervising management staff
  • 13. Evaluating employee performance and providing direction, correction, or additional training to ensure proper maintenance of the building
  • 14. Assisting with emergency response and evacuations
  • 15. Maintaining records of strata rolls

Professional and Academic Background

  • 1. 5-10 years experience in managing commercial/residential properties
  • 2. Has working experience with Joint Management Body or Management Corporation
  • 3. Mature, initiative, self-motivated and able to work independently
  • 4. Strong leadership skills with critical thinking and results oriented behaviour
  • 5. Good interpersonal skill and customer service experience
  • 6. Computer literate with strong written and oral communication skills
  • 7. Good command in English and Bahasa Malaysia
